What a beautiful day in Hidden Falls Regional Park! We leisurely hiked about 4 miles. Great views of the falls and the canyon! Can't wait to return. Afterwards, we ate fresh sandwiches and salads at Garden of Eatn. Yum!
Last day in March we were fortunate to have a bluebird day at Heavenly. Some wind at the top but overall the weather was just right. The views of blue Lake Tahoe are stunning. Despite it being a holiday, it was not crowded. Thank you for fun day in the snow!
Last weekend in March, we hosted our 50th Pentathlon at North Natomas Aquatic Complex. The Pentathlon consisted of 5 races; 100 yd Fly, 100 yd Back, 100 yd Breast, 100 yd Free, and the 200 yd Individual medley. The person with the lowest combined time wins a towel! In addition, there were relays. Thank you to everyone who participated including the meet directors, swimmers, officials, announcers, timers, and the other volunteers setting up and taking down the meet, working the snack bar and registration. You made the meet a success!...
Congrats to Kim Jorgensen for representing SACMA in The City Mile in SF! Here's what she had to say, "The SF mile was well organized, perfect pool temp, easy access, huge locker room, and hot showers. Can't wait to swim it next year."
We had a fabulous time at Trivia night! Congrats to Team MESADA who won first place! Big Thank you to Jenna, Kevin, and Michael of Lucid Winery. Go back and buy their wine. Also big thanks to trivia host Bill Silveira of Trivialogy. So fun!!

We had a blast answering trivia and puzzles to save Alice in Downtown Sacramento. We had 4 teams of six. Afterwards, we met at Oak Park Brewery for libations and provisions!
Busy October weekend for Sacramento Masters Swimming! 3 of us volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in West Sacramento. We helped beautified Bryte Park. What an amazing organization to work for. That same weekend, 8 swimmers represented our team at the PMS Short Course Meters Championships in Walnut Creek. Everyone cheered for each teammate! All the team spirit paid off, SACMA placed 9th out of 43 small teams! Congratulations to all the swimmers! Extra kudos to the Men's medley relay for their 2nd place finish.
